Intro to Earthship, Part 2

I've been following Earthship Guru Michael Reynolds since the late '70s and had the pleasure of meeting him at an earthship site in Jasper, Georgia in the mid-'90s. I also visited his earthship community in Taos, NM. I've always believed he's a "voice crying out in the desert" -- a passionate prophet for a sustainable future.
I realize that his homes represent a radical departure from the typical American Home, but this is as real as it gets if you want to talk practical application of green and sustainable building practices.
His philosophy of water collection and gray water systems alone are low tech technologies that need to be adopted on a broad scale if we are to avert water crises in our generation.
