Georgia Power leads the Change a Light pledge

gpc_banner_cfl_03.jpg
Speaking of change agents — looks like we've got our fair share here in Georgia. I see that Georgia Power Company is the top organization in Energy Star's Change a Light, Change the World Campaign with a total of 145,363 pledges and 173,211 bulbs. That represents an energy savings of $4,542,632 and 70,843,299 lbs. of greenhouse gas emissions prevented.

The Energy Star Change a Light Campaign is a national challenge to encourage every American to help change the world, one light — one energy-saving step — at a time.

If you haven't done so already, please take the pledge. You can do so here.
