A home on the web for Lake Claire LEED
My readers are aware of the greenovation of a home I've been blogging about called Lake Claire LEED. This home is on track to be Atlanta's first LEED for Homes/Earthcraft House/Energy Star renovation. So we figured the project was worthy of it's very own blog.
I've partnered with green builder/remodeler Matt Hoots of The Hoots Group to help tell the story of this ground-breaking project at www.LakeClaireLEED.com. Matt & Company are true pioneers in Atlanta's green building space, so you'll want to dial in to this educational chronicle of the greenest way to build.
My partnership with Hoots goes beyond blogging. I now wear the hat of Solar Ambassador for The Hoots Group. Or I will, as soon as Matt gets me the tricked out solar powered ventilating hat he's been promising me. It'll be a great way to keep my head cool plus promote solar while I'm out in the field scouting for homes that are great candidates for solar water heaters and solar power systems.
Anyway, now is the time to start your own greenovation project with the confluence of low-priced real estate + Federal and State incentives for home energy retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements.
